Business cards are essential to any business venture, but since nearly all business owners are aware of that fact, consumers are overwhelmed with the number of cards they accumulate. Even if your customer is very satisfied with the work your company performed, it is statistically very unlikely that your business card will be saved for more than a day or two. Don’t get me wrong, I believe business cards are one of your most cost effective marketing tools available, but marketing savvy windshield repair technicians know that there is something even better.

In addition to being a valuable marketing tool, Delta Kits Chip Saver Cards also serve 3 important functions.
1) Used as a business card, Chip Savers provide your customers, and prospective customers, with valuable contact information such as, your company’s name, address, and phone number.
2) Chip Savers remind customers that stone chips should be repaired as soon as possible to avoid a more costly replacement.
3) Chip Savers provide customers with a convenient, and “free,” way to keep moisture and debris from entering a rock chip until it can be properly repaired, and inform your customers of the importance of doing so.

I can’t say that any one of the functions listed above is better than the rest, but function number 3 is the one that really sets Chip Savers apart from a standard business card. Once you explain the importance of protecting a rock chip immediately after the damage occurs, and give your customers a Chip Saver card for specifically designed for that purpose, it is never going to leave their glove box.

Once your customer puts the Chip Saver in their glove box it will most likely be forgotten, along with the name of your company. But never fear, the next time a rock hits their windshield, they will remember what you told them, dig the Chip Saver out of the glove box, and cover the damaged area. Best of all, your name and phone number will be back in the customer’s hand.

Traditionally, Delta Kits Chip Savers have been a bit larger than a business card, which is great for the glove box, but not so great for customers that prefer to store the card in their wallets. In addition, Delta Kits customers preferring a personalized custom message had to order 10,000 cards at a time to be cost effective. While that was fine for our larger customers, many technicians simply could not afford to order in those quantities.

The new CS121 Chip Savers from Delta Kits, are business card size, completely customizable in quantities as low as 1000 each, and have two 1 5/8” clear adhesive circles to cover even the largest rock chips. Delta Kits Generic Chip Savers are available in quantities as low as 100, and have plenty of room for your own custom stamp or label. For custom Chip Saver prices, or a complete description of design changes, please call Delta Kits customer service at 800-548-8332 ext 201, or email sales@deltakits.com.
