Glass, plastic, or One Shot; only Delta Kits gives you a choice. Glass bottles are recommended for anyone using a top load injector like those sold by Delta Kits. With top load injectors, the resin is loaded into the injector from the top after the injector is secured to the windshield.

Delta Kits glass bottles are made from a special UV resistant amber glass, are translucent, and have graduation marks on the side so you know how much resin is used for each repair, and how much is left in the bottle. Delta Kits glass bottles also feature a cap with a built in glass pipette, that allows the technician to monitor exactly how much resin is being used, and fits into the injector cylinder to assure that the resin is all deposited into the end seal.

For technicians using bottom load injectors, bottle style is merely a matter of personal preference. Delta Kits LDPE “plastic” squeeze bottles are white and feature a white dropper tip for maximum UV resistance. Plastic bottles are not recommended for top load injectors because it is very difficult to determine how much resin you are using. If you try to count the drops, much of the resin will end up in the inner threads of the injector cylinder, and therefore wasted.

One Shots are small syringes that fit into the injector cylinder to assure the resin is all deposited into the end seal. One Shots are pre-measured with enough resin for 1 large repair, and are designed for single application use. One Shots eliminate mess and waste, and are an excellent way to control resin inventory.
