Any coach will tell you that some of the most talented athletes will never make the cut, simply because they refuse to accept instruction and criticism. The most successful athletes in the world are the ones that are never too proud to have someone point out their mistakes or too stubborn to learn from those mistakes.

The same is true in business and life in general. I say this as one who has seen my share of failure because I was too proud or too stubborn to listen to good advice.
