It is very important to clean your mixing cup (part number: HLMIXCUP) after performing a headlight restoration. Failure to do so can cause the unused chemicals to gum up and contaminate future coatings. Here’s how we do it:

We take the shop towel that we just used to apply the coating, and we remove any remaining liquid from the mixing cup.

Then, we take the CLEAN2PREP cleaning solution (part number: HLC2PREP08) and spray the inside of the mixing cup.

Then, with a new shop towel, we wipe the inside of the mixing cup dry. Now, there is no residue remaining in the cup and it's ready for the next headlight restoration.
