How to Protect your Hands from Resin

Even though our Delta Kits windshield repair resins have a low acid content it’s important to be diligent about protecting your skin when working with resin. Nitrile gloves are an option but not everyone can wear them due to skin allergies and often times technicians prefer to complete repairs with their bare hands.

We use Derma Shield while doing repairs in our trainings and in our warehouse. It provides a microscopic, invisible protective layer on the skin for up to 4 hours, creating a barrier between the skin and the resin. It quickly dries leaving your hands feeling grease-free, so it’s easy to still handle the tools and bridges without your hands feeling slippery or slimy.
