Meet Katherine McCarthy, our Delta Kits Marketing Manager!

Where are you from? What brought you to Eugene & makes you stay?

Originally from West Michigan, Oregon has always had a huge pull for me – it’s beautiful! – and when my twin sister moved here and the company I was working for at the time was based there, I took advantage of the opportunity and moved 2,300 miles away from home in 2015. I’m still here because I met a handsome Oregonian man that I want to be with forever (yes – he knows about this :p).

What is something about you that you think makes you unique?

I’m the eldest identical twin with my sister by 10 minutes, and I’m actually a 4-time National Champion in D2 NCAA cross-country and track! Go GVSU 🙂

How long have you been a Delta Kits employee?

I’ve proudly been serving Delta Kits since March 2017.

Favorite hobby besides windshield repair?

You’d never guess I do anything besides repair outside of work, BUT I LOVE running and playing volleyball, watching 90s movies, hiking anywhere in OR, searching for thee perfect lipstick, and cooking!

How many windshields have you repaired/funny story?

Only one actual windshield – my own! I had a 3 and a half year-old rock chip on my car when I started working here, and after I became a certified technician I repaired it (with Bruce’s help, of course!)… I was so nervous, I was sweating. But it turned out great J

What is your favorite part of your job?

I love my coworkers! Their energy, positivity, and personality make my job easier. And of course I love marketing, deh! My favorite part of marketing is creating resonating graphic design and content creation.
